Dr. Nathan Perry
Professor of Economics • Colorado Mesa University

Dr. Perry is the Western Slope’s go-to economist, writing the quarterly economic newsletters for Mesa, Montrose, and Delta Counties and presenting regularly on the economic conditions of Western Colorado, the state, and the nation.

His keynotes are data-rich, candid, and dynamic — weaving in the live issues of the moment, from tariffs and AI to housing and labor markets, rather than recycling last year’s slides.

This year Dr. Perry takes the stage for a full 75-minute presentation on the 2027 economic outlook — local, state, and national.
